Over thirty years of engineering and project management experience in a variety of energy-related research and development projects, including design, analysis, fabrication development and testing. Experience spans vendor, developer and consulting roles in thermoelectric power systems, thermionic-based space nuclear power systems and gas-cooled reactor systems. Current emphasis areas of consulting include:

• Technical and economic assessment of alternative hydrogen production processes with gas-cooled reactor and other central power and/or heat delivery systems
• Hybrid renewable power systems development and assessment for grid-connected and off-grid applications
• Evaluation of alternative distributed resource technologies and leading commercial options and vendors
• Systems engineering analyses, including end-user requirements, functional analysis, and performance and reliability analyses
• Design engineering of advanced gas-cooled reactor systems with emphasis on heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics
• Preparation of technical and marketing material for use in new product promotions
